This drying rack is up to the job of holding large numbers of wool socks as they come out of the wash. Nothing like chilly weather to increase the need to air dry all those warm fibers and fabrics! Plus it really is sturdy!

This piece is sturdy and holds items well. In truth for what I want, I could have gone even bigger but lack the room. Now that I have this one, I find I'm using it for more items than I originally planned just to lighten the load in the dryer. Come nice weather, I intend to set it on the deck and use solar power.

I have a dryer in the basement that is over 55 yrs old, had to disconnect it 1.5 yrs ago to have new basement windows installed. I have yet to vent that dryer. I love my racks and clothes line for sheets and blankets. I was raised hanging laundry outside and still do it today. When they talk "Green Deal", let me know how serious they are when they hang their laundry out to dry. This rack is standing in the garage until fall and then it will be in the basement with my jumbo folding rack. It is so sturdy for the small size, just love it. Worth every penny.
